What will my debit/credit card statement show?
It will show a transaction line item for Greater St John Baptist Church.
Does the church have a preferred method of payment?
Your bank’s Online Bill Pay system is the preferred method of giving online since this results in the lowest cost to the church.
How long will it take for my online gift to be reflected on my bank statement or credit card account?
In most cases credit and debit card transactions should post to your credit card account or bank account within 1 day.
Is online giving secure?
Yes, our online giving system uses high grade 256-bit SSL encryption, the strongest level of Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) supported by web standards.
Can I test this by giving only one time?
Yes, you may test Online Giving and give only once.
Do I need to create a profile and login in order to participate in Online Giving?
No, if you are giving a one-time gift. Yes, if you are giving a repeating gift. Follow instructions provided.
If I make a one-time gift, can my credit card information be stored for future transactions?
Yes, when asked if you want to save credit card information, just say “yes”.
Will my gifts be included on my annual giving statements?
Yes. And if you create account you will be able to see all transactions.
How can I obtain a receipt for my online gift?
Once your online gift is completed you will automatically be sent an email confirmation.
What about my offering envelopes?
Envelopes are available at no cost and given to all attendees who requests them in order to establish faithful patterns of giving. You may continue to use our free offering envelopes, if you wish.
Can I set up Recurring donations?
Yes, you can schedule Repeating Gifts on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis. This will require creating a login for your church account.
How do I edit credit/debit card or banking information if I have a repeating gift?
For security purposes, repeating gifts can be edited. Simply log on your church online profile, cancel the existing repeating gift, and set up a new one with new debit/credit card or bank information.
