At Greater St. John Baptist Church we are focused on one goal: “Empowering people and Transforming Lives”…one person at a time. The simple fact, however, is that the church cannot do this without financial resources. God has directed that each church is to be funded by the tithes and offerings of those who are a part of that local church. Simply put: our giving makes an eternal difference.
Why Give to the Lord’s Church?
Giving our tithes and offerings reflects a grateful heart that wants to give back to God a portion of what He has given us; in reality, what is already His. This is our opportunity to show God that He is first in our lives. The Bible says, The purpose of tithing is to teach you always to put God first in your lives (Deuteronomy 14:23 TLB). Tithing is a reminder that God is the supplier of everything we have. It is also God’s personal invitation to an outpouring of his blessing in your life. Here are reasons why we give and giving FAQs.

You may set up payments for one time, weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. Please send this link to friends and family to give on a regular basis to our church and to support other community and ministry efforts.
