FACILITIES MINISTRY
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. (Colossians 3:23-24)
The Facilities Ministries endeavor to show the glory of God by creating and maintaining an appealing, comfortable and safe environment for the congregation, as well as visitors and guests. Our ministry consists of four teams: Building and Grounds, Cleaning, Decorating and Levites.
- Our Building and Grounds Teams are responsible for the ongoing maintenance of the church building and its property. The teams sponsor periodic workdays and encourage participation by anyone, no matter what their experience is. The Building and Grounds Teams also complete special projects for the church.
- Our Cleaning Teams help maintain the cleanliness of the church. This requires a commitment each month. No experience is necessary.
- Our Decorating Team helps ensure that the church building and sanctuary are appealing and joyful throughout the year. Members with decorating and interior design talent meet occasionally.
- Our Facilities Team works behind the scenes, making sure all areas of the church are ready for whatever event may be on the horizon. Whether it is setting up the sanctuary for Sunday services, arranging classrooms for Small Groups, or preparing a dining and fellowship area to accommodate our guests.
